Ghadira Beach is located near the road, which means there could be some traffic noise.

Ghadira Beach is mostly sandy. So, snorkelling there is limited compared to rocky beaches. Check out my guide to the best snorkelling locations.

Is this Beach for You?

Golden Bay Beach tends to get quite crowded, especially at the busiest times of the year.

Finding parking or a spot for your towel at the beach can be challenging because it’s so popular. Limited parking spaces can be frustrating and waste your time as you search for a spot.

If convenience and easy access are important to you, you may want to explore other beach options besides Golden Bay.

Għajn Tuffieħa Beach

What’s so Great about Għajn Tuffieħa Beach?

Għajn Tuffieħa Bay is the second one from the trio.

Għajn Tuffieħa Bay is one of Malta’s best beaches to enjoy beautiful sunsets. As the day comes to a close, the bay becomes a stunning place, with the light making amazing silhouettes and bringing a calm vibe.

The beach is surrounded by rocky hills and hiking paths. It’s a perfect spot for nature enthusiasts. Begin your day with a hike, then treat yourself to a swim.

Għajn Tuffieħa Bay is less crowded than Golden Bay. A big reason for that is that there are 187 steps from the top, which can be a challenge for some people.

Do you enjoy water sports? At Għajn Tuffieħa Bay, you can rent paddleboards to discover the beautiful coast.

You can take surf lessons or rent a surfboard when the waves are high. Additionally, you can snorkel along the rocky edges of the bay to observe marine life up close.
