About Me

“Three days in Malta.” That’s what most people plan.

After 14 years living here, I’d argue you need at least seven. And even then, you’ll leave with a list of things you didn’t get to.

I’m Laura. I moved to Malta from Lithuania in 2011. Partly for the sunshine, mostly because I fell in love with the place.

I’ve walked every coastal path, visited every town, and explored every corner of Malta and Gozo.

I don’t discover new places anymore. I rediscover the same ones. And every time I go back, I see something I missed before.

That’s what a place with 7,000 years of history does to you.

My friends and family kept asking me where to go when they visited. Not the most common tourist sights, but the real Malta. The cliff walks with nobody else in sight. The old bars where locals still sit outside in the evening. The villages where someone will happily tell you stories if you just slow down enough to listen.

So I wrote it all down.

The Stress-Free Guide to Malta is the itinerary I give the people I actually care about. It handles all the logistics – the routes, the timings, the where do I even start – so your brain is free to just be in Malta.

Less planning. More Malta.
